David is doing well in the ICU. He is awake. They predict one day in ICU and then he will be moved to a regular room.
The results of the biopsy were not what we were hoping for. Melanoma was confirmed. N&D will discuss the results with the children over the weekend, so please allow them time to have this conversation. Please do not call the house.
This news, while not what we wanted, now allows the process to finally move forward... A treatment plan can now be created and acted upon, and David can put this disease behind him.
The back... Tuesday is the day that we are hearing for the back surgery.
