It looks like David is getting his walking papers tomorrow. David spent the entire weekend lobbying for his release... he either made some really good points, or everyone got tired of his verbal tsunami. Providing that a few last minute tests go well, he should be released sometime on Tuesday. He will need to return regularly to start the cancer treatments, but hopefully these will only involve short stays.
As you are aware, the costs associated with this month long hospital stay, plus the on-going treatments for brain cancer, loss of work etc. can be staggering & devastating. David's company has been fantastic in their support, but it is clear that additional help is needed. To this end, some people had suggested that an account be setup to help offset some of these costs. This is an uncomfortable position to be in and I am sure that Nicola and David would prefer a different alternative. But, given the current situation... I think that the suggestion of an account is a worthwhile one.
