David spent the day recovering. There is still quite a lot of pain. He had a routine CT to make sure that things we in order with his back... all was OK. He is now out if ICU and in a regular room.
The physical therapists start appearing tomorrow, which I am sure will be a little rough at first.
We have not heard the exact plans yet on what treatment(s) they will be using for the brain. However, if they are sticking to the original schedule, treatment should begin sometime next week. I'll keep you posted once I know more.

ok whats the chicken and the eggs story?
ReplyDeleteThanks so much again for the the updates! I'm glad to hear everything is going as scheduled. When the time is good for you Nicola or David, I would love to talk to ya'll. You know I have some questions....
Everyone at school has ya'll in their prayers. Please lets us know if we can help in any way with the kids. Ethan was happily playing when I saw him today. I know God has big plans for you David after all of this is done!
Love, tricia
Hi David

PS-keep up the good work with blog Gareth.

Ah, one step at a time...it is great for you to look forward to back relief soon. Consider doing twice as many exercises as they require so you can get home and start preparing specially created egg dishes a' la David...I'm sure you'll begin with CURRY!
ReplyDeleteLove you you all!
Glad to hear things went well with the back surgery. Pretty extreme measure to improve your golf game! Looking forward to visiting with you tonight.
ReplyDeleteYour O.F.F.!
Glad to hear things are starting to improve. Doug got a laugh when he went to the house yesterday to let your mom know about the yard on Friday. Ethan let him know that he knows where everything is and he can help since he helps his dad all the time. Dave W. and Doug are looking forward to having a little helper on Friday! We will continue to keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers! Jennifer and Doug
ReplyDeleteWeems,
ReplyDeleteTwo questions:
1. Which one of your orthopod buds did your surgery?
2. How many emu eggs have been laid at casa Weemis?
Can you tell I'm on a long layover in Atlanta? (third question but rhetorical)
David, or is it Richard, or is it
ReplyDeleteDick Weems?
